well l96 sniper upgrade list

Please check this list over for me! I'm not sure if everything will work with my gun, I'm looking for around 500 fps with a max of 550fps. The guns already pretty accurate so I'm not caring about a tight-bore that much right now but ill probably get one later. Thanks for reading this over....

I'm hoping to get the 170 spring if it ever gets back in stock, over than that i think the gun can handle the parts but I'm not sure.

I didn't particularly like airsoftatlanta when i was in the states; and i wouldnt go for a fps that high, even if you are in the states. in the future, should fill out account info so people dont start flaming you. if youre in the usa, check the fps limit for sniper rifles, and the highest i would go as far as FPS is 450, and that's pushing it. i was an airsoft sniper in the states for 5 years, had both a TM Vsr10 and well l96, good guns, occasional lemons for Well. theyre ok parts, theres better quality parts out there, but yeah, ok list

You should really do a little search... there is a quite long thread that covers tow excelent ways of upgrading a sniper rifle, based on an L96..

In a sniper system, the barrel is the FIRST part you want to change, long before any cylinder upgrades. Shooting at 300ft is nice, but hitting something at that range is nicier... with the stock widebore barrel, you barelly will be able to hit something at 150ft.

I second that. I have a chrony queen right now.... a gun that makes high numbers but can't hit shit at range. It gets off a few good shots than its like lets just roll the dice and see which way we are gonna fly!

Isn't it Amos or Stalker that runs their rifles at 350 FPS (on .20's) runs .36's in them, and can get some crazy ass range with it?

TBH I wouldn't go above 400 and I'd put all the money into making the rifle more consistent in the shots so that you can at least sight the rifle in, predict where the shots will go, and since you have such a low ROF with a sniper rifle you hit what you want to hit the first time.
