Ak-47 Orange Tip Removal?

Hi there,

I have a kraken and I was wondering how to take off the orange tip? I think it might be glued on. Also do you rotate them left (CCW) to take them off or do you twist right (CW) to take them off? I tried both ways using a wrench and nothing happened. Thanks

get a good set of pliers and just turn ccw as hard as you can.. those clamping ones work really good

be sure there is not a ruined set screw holding it, then turn ccw.

No set screw on the Kraken, just clamp down hard and turn. Then be prepared to pick away at glue for a while to clean the threads for your new flash hider.
