Tokyo Mauri Glock 26 Advance
Hey guys/girls.
i've got myself a TM G26 Advance and am looking to modify it. i have searched the forum and it appears i am on my own as to what i plan to do.. after looking around and pulling my hair out looking for a metal slide for this model i have given up.. i can however find and get my hands on G21 G18 G17 Guarder slides and outer barrels for the tokyo mauri models. Can someone confirm with me that these will fit? i know obviously i might need to cut down my inner barrel or get a aftermarket one instead which i am prepared to do.. is there anything else i need look out for? i really want to get this working once more since i just bought a propane adapter for it. since its not quiet legal here to own one of there i dont have any local support. Thanks in return |

I cannot say anything for the slide
I also have a G26 advance and the outer barrel where it meets the internals wore out, it was causing the gun not to cycle properly so I had to replace it, I took off the compensator and took out the outer barrel, I then took a G17 outer barrel and put it in, you eill need to drill a hole into the outer barrel for the compensator to fit back on but for TM G17 metal outer barrels they will fit on a g26a with easy modification. as for slides I noticed the slide was very close to fit on the extended fram of the G26a, something needed to be filed down to make flush I forget what it was I'm really tired right now If I remember or your have any more questions I'll come back in the morning and answer. I hope this helped a bit |

Cheers Mate, looking at getting the pgc outer and slide, i should be able to get that here without problems. if they stock it in hongkong... fingers crossed for that..
i might just shorten the gun and not put the advance extension on it, it seems it might be easier for me. |

Hello,
Can anyone tell me which slides will also fit the 26 advance?? it appears getting one for the 26 or the advance is impossible. would a glock 17 slide work? and then i can mod the rest of the gun to suit the slide seems to look similar in photos or another g17 job or maybe the glock 28?? None would fit on the G26 frame. You either would want to buy a G27 KJW with metal slide and throw it over.

TM G26 is made for TM G26 slide. KJW G27 is a clone of it, so it will work. But anything else, either not TM or not G26/G27, will not work on that gun.

mind you he is talking about the g26 Advance. which has the same length frame as a G17, I do remember taking a slide off a Meister g17 and actually placing it on my G26A frame (without the compensator ofcourse) with only the front corner's of the g26A frame sticking out a bit which could be sanded to make the gun look flush.
I never fired it though. so who know's if it will even work, but it did slide on |

Cheers for your help guys! its a real pain to find things for these.. i wish i had of broken the gun 4 years ago when i was using it alot more.. after 911 i couldnt get hfc gas shipped out to me anymore and had to resort to a friend filling them up with proper hfc22 from airconditioning uinits.
now i decided to get that propane adapter and its all good again, tho finding bottles of propane that work and fit the adapter was another pain.... i am back on a new plastic slide which i suspect its not going to last long at all.. i did however run into some luck lastnite after going thru some 50 pages on google.. they are holding stock at the moment and i have my order in.. i will have to modify the outer barrel to suit the G26A however.. or try track one down that will work.. or shorten the gun to remove the advance business on the front..
