TM Hi Capa 5.1 hop up unit

I have a TM 5.1 pistol grip, with all the components inside. The only thing missing is the slide with the internals.

Now, since this is the first time I'm working on 1911/5.1 series, I would like to know what parts I need in the hop up section to build this thing up.

What type of Hop up unit/chamber fits in the TM 5.1 and where they are available?

For the other parts of the slide, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find them by myself.

Thank you for your help!

the hopup unit for the Hicapa series is pretty much propetary to the Hicapas, they are pretty rare, I think Tokyomodel sells them for like 50$, I also found that G-military sells a hopup unit housing only (but you'll be missing the hopup arm, rubber, and wheel....:S) LINK

For some reason, I totally forgot to take a look on Tokyo Model's website and I think I've found exactly what I need. Thank you so much bud!

NP dude....

BTW: for the slide you'll need

- blowback unit (bbu) (airsoft surgeon ones are good...)
- piston head (Dyna piston head)
- Loading nozzle (and a loading nozzle spring) (Airsoft Surgeon or shooter design)
- hopup unit
- hopup rubber (firefly makes good ones)
- inner barrel

I hope I'm not missing anything.....

+ recoil spring (the 150% springs are all pretty good)
+ recoil guide rod
+ slide
+ bushing (I hope you get it with the slide...usually do...otherwise getting a good fit is hit and miss)
+ nozzle spring

(other nozzle parts you may or may not get with a nozzle kit)
- tiny little screw that holds the floating valve stop in the nozzle

Rear sight, front sight
- guys usually pull them off the stock slide to put on an aftermarket slide....but if you don't have them to start with.....
- the front sights are not too hard to find...most guys who swap over to fiber optic have spare originals
- the factory rear sight is tough to find...but there might be aftermarket ones available now
- 4.3 sights will not fit the cutouts for a 5.1 slide

Creation(Tokyo Model carries it) makes a "bomar" style 5.1 rear sight, out of machined steel...

FYI, if you use Airsoft Surgeon/Illusion Kinetic BBU, you can't use any other piston head....the design is different.

I just received my Airsoft Surgeon Upgrade kit and realized that the kit is not including the tiny screw that hold the internals of the nozzle in place (Part no. 19).

Anybody know where I could find this screw or find another screw that could fit in?

Screw that holds the nozzle internals in place you mean? Because the nozzle itself isn't screwed into anything. If its the screw that's responsible for holding its innards that you're talking about, then the MAG spring replacements include 2 of those screws..

Edit: ILLusion may sell the individual screw, check with him.
