tl;dr: How do i disassemble a TM 226 with a guarder metal kit?
Ok posting here as i thouht this was the most likely place to get an answer. If i am in the wrong forum etc.. please move the post, ops.
I recently bought a Tm p226 with a guarder metal kit. It is working fine, however i noticed there was a bit of dirt around the hammer, so it probably has not been cleaned inside for a while.. i thought i would do that.
Slight problem though.. i can't seem to be able to disassemble it. I took off the grips, the decocker, the hammer spring and the thing the hammer spring is attached to, the spring on the right hand side that holds up part of the trgger assembly, the small cover in front of the right hand side of the mag release.. and it still wont come apart. Also unscrewed the small screw thats on the right hand side on the rear frame.
Ofc i undid the screw under the disassembly lever and the other one in front of the forward inner frame thing..
Basically i undid all screws i could find, removed the rod thats attached to the backward lower frame etc.. but the frame parts wont come out. Can any of you point me to a guide or alternatively tell me when it is ok to apply a great deal of force?
This was all prolly rather confusing. exuce me, im drunk
But i need a guide to disassembling a TK 226. Yeah.. thats the short version ;p
