M203 for m4/m16 and attachments questions.

Hey there everyone!

I'm currently looking for a m203 for my m16 but I hit a snatch...

There is so many different types out there!!!

Attach to rail systems... Attach to barrels... Different rail system comparable with outer barrel attached m203... The front outer barrel attachment?!

There are so many different kind it's driving me crazy!... I don't want to buy the wrong one either...

What I want is attach to the rail system, but won't hang so low that the trigger guard won't even reach it's proper place...

If it's not possible, then I'll pick the barrel attach, but then which kind of rail system is suitable with a barrel attached m203?

Also which brand is best for my intention? And if you where to get one, send link or PM me!

Ive had good experience with the Classic Army RIS mounted M203 and the Echo 1 Ris mounted one aswell. The Barrel mounted ones are cool but ive noticed through real steel shooting that the more garbage you have on your barrel the less accuracy you obtain.

Once you pick an M203, pick up some madbull M203 shells. Best shells ive ever seen.

There are three types of attachment.

- RIS
- TM style multi-piece barrel
- one piece metal barrel

That's it. To use either type of barrel attachment, you need a regular style handguard so you can remove the lower piece, or a 2 piece rail system so that you can remove the lower half of the rail system.

So your talking about real guns but for airsoft does it really affect the accuracy?!

So is there any rail system ones that can be fitted like a outer barrel one?

No. It's either or.
I used to sell M203's that had 3 interchangable mounting options, but most are one type only.

If you want something that is durable without too many small parts breaking then go with teh Madbull Launcher the mechanism is ultra simple plunger type and there are no triggers to break if in case you are using CO2 nades at full charge, if you want it for looks and functional then go with a CA or a G&P. I have all three types the Madbull version is the only type that allows me to swap to other guns in under 1 minute as long as they have a RIS system I can mount it. The CA and G&P triggers are a bit weak I had 2 failures on min eit's just a $10 parts swap and as for G&P you will need to changed that shitty trigger latch teh original ones suck ass (Potmetal) you can swap it for a reenforced ones that is made from steel

Ive owned the G&P M203 RIS mount for a while now (4-5 years?)
I havent had any issues with my trigger in terms of using CO2 Grenades, but i have heard of the issue from others before.

There is a Dboys M203 that has a 3 in one attachment system allowing you to mount it on different barrel types. The G&P M203 RAS attachment seems to be attached to the 203 in a similar if not same way as the dboys.

I wonder if I can pick up a G&P Barrel mount 203 overseas and bring over the barrel mount attachment and mount it on my RIS 203 back home
