Sorbo Pad

Anyone use these? Just curious to know if it is worth grabbing one.. If so how do you install?

Yes.

Remove stock rubber pad on cylinder head.
Replace.

Done.

Cool. It's 2 parts though? Is there a part that ops onto the actual piston head or does it just all flop into the cylinder head?

No, it's one pad and it goes directly onto the cylinder head.

Spend the extra 10 bucks and buy the whole cylinder head

By the way - They're fantastic, I had one in a 470 FPS Tokyo Marui Gearbox.. and it's been around a loooong time.

For maximum shock absorption, replace the piston head with the MASK piston head that already has the sorbo tab installed in addition to purchasing the MASK cylinder head that also has the sorbo pad installed.

Although you can purchase just the tab or pad, there is a tiny possibility that it won't adhere properly and fall off. Personally, for piece of mind, I get both the MASK piston and cylinder heads.

Don't forget to check your AOE and file down the first tooth!

My tm m733 has the ARS Mask version 2 (new style) with a Modify Cylinder head, both come with the pads installed.
I did not have to modify anything & it is super quiet now.

I also have a VSR with the PSS10 Neo piston and i put a single sorbo pad on my cylinder head and
the dam thing raised my FPS from 481 to 484 average and it barely makes a sound..
kind of a soft thump & whoosh plus it has the slightest kick now OUTFNSTANDING

I love my sorbo pads... and HERE YA GO
my aeg piston and cylinder head (i bought the Modify head as it has a thinner pad thus i didnt have to remove the tooth.

You missed the point on the cylinder head part lol

The majority of the shock absorption comes from the large sorbo pad on the cylinder head.

I call BS on that.

The modify cylinder head does not come with the sorbo pad nor is it pre-installed!

Quick question on cylinders. How do you know what cylinder to get? Based on the MM i am asuming that means for the barrel size you have.. What would happen if you had a smaller barrel but got a cylinder with no port in it?
