Help with finding a mag.

Guys I'm looking for a metal low cap mag(s) for my aftermath Kraken AK and some BB's. Can anyone point me to a dealer? I'm hoping to find a mag that hold 30 rounds.

Metal mags tend to me expensive and, if you're planning on running low-caps, then you will want several of them.

Moreover, you will want to be dropping them on the ground for faster reloads...typically, this isn't great for mags and if your mags were expensive, you might want to take better care of them.

My recommendation would be to get STAR plastic low-cap mags. They come in at about $5 a mag and come in lots of capacities and colours.

In terms of BBs, get BB Bastard and never look back. He's a Canadian retailer, member of the ASC community and a great guy. His product is top of the line and well priced.

Star 30rnd plastic AK mags. Perfect for what you want. Don't by metal.

best to group up with someone to get some mags...it makes the shipping cheaper.

As for the BBs, you can buy them through ASC mart, I believe.

Right now there's no place to just ask the local players. Where's that tread about ordering stuff together?

Heh, I only will ever buy metal AK mags, I spent enough money making my gun all metal so I'm not about to cheap out on the mags especially since to me they need to feel right.

Bit of a thread hijack, but wouldn't metal mags be better for doing the tactical AK reload? That seems like it would bust up plastic mags pretty quick.
