Is it silly if I kind of want to keep my orange flash hider?
would i be criticized for keeping or wanting to keep the orange tip on my aeg orange instead of painting it.

Is your gun, do what you want with it. You can return the insults towards those that play dress up impressions (kinda like cyclists that dress up in full Tour de France gear while they commute to work every day) if they happen to call you a noob for not making your gun look realistic because of the orange tip.

No you would not. But you probably should, otherwise it looks like a toy.

I'd really prefer if you left harsh reality out of this.

You could also wear some dayglo hunting gear, or paint a target on your back...

Some must be the bearers of bad news, sorry. I kinda came to the realization of this one night at 2am after a evening/night game at Denny's with the rest of the Warmongers, we got funny looks for bringing our mascot "Wendy the Warmonger" (a sex blow up doll dressed in BDUs and tactical vest) in with us and had her sit at the table while we joked around about the various looks and reactions we got from other patrons. At that point, I sort of realised we seemed to be living in an odd dream world..............

If you're the kind of person who wraps your leather sofas in saran wrap or plastic and your remote control in plastic as well then go ahead but personally it's probably a better idea to replace it with an aftermarket tip or paint it black. Keeping in mind that the orange tip requirement is only a US thing and has no bearing in Canada whatsoever.

Orange tip is the same as shouting on a megaphone "I'M OVER HERE!" every time you raise the gun

I remember playing one game where a new guy did not paint or cover up his orange tip.
He would lay somewhere, waiting, and waiting. Trying his best to ambush you. Only problem was, he kept the barrel of his gun pointed down the path he was laying an ambush for. Everyone saw the orange tip, and avoided the path lol

Orange tip isn't required by law in canada. Only in the U.S.

Don't listen to anyone who states you HAVE to paint the tip, those are just elitests who refuse to allow anyone to play that has a gun with any part of it that is clear
I have personally played with a gun that had an orange tip AND a clear body and no one ever stated after the game to seeing it because of either. Sad part is I did quite well in that game as a matter of fact |
