What you have right now is not airsoft. It's softair or clearsoft or crapsoft.
The guns that you linked that you're thinking about are good choice, and are actual airsoft guns. |

What you've owned is not airsoft. You don't have a base to compare.

I can tell you, from a noob to total-noob perspective, that no one gives a **** about the fact that you have hiking boots, and also, most importantly, nobody here will help you choose a gun if your not age verified.
Now, I can tell you that this Taurus is some total garbage compared to an airsoft pistol, like the KJW m9 you want to get. But my advice would be keeping your money to buy a sick ass gun when you turn 18 instead of plinking in your backyard with some extra-low to not bad guns.

It's not a good first gun.. it makes an excellent secondary. You should be looking for an AEG. A real AEG. Actually, you should be waiting until you're 18.
Due to the legalities surrounding airsoft, and public perception, most of us do not support minors owning or obtaining imitation firearms. Keep saving, wait until you're 18.

Don't let that keep you down though. Sure I won't tell you certain things (as I am bound by the rules of the forum) but depending on the area you live in you may have teams/groups setup like EASY, Low Shotz, or Ambush Anonymous that support minors with a place to play. Basically I can point you in the direction of certain things but others you will have to wait till you're 18 (and AV'ed) or stick around and figure it out yourself.
As your your current stuff, I'd suggest on getting a PB mask (ASTM rated to 11J of impact force compared to the ANSI "safety glasses" for work which I calculated to about 3.4J impact force (given pretty generous calculations as for the density of the material they test against)). TBH right now you only have 1 gun that can generously be called real airsoft. The rest is "crapsoft". Not to say it isn't good but it's only good to a limit. I still say however that it's ok if you have it and it can be used as a learning experience or for taking things apart and figuring out how they work before you work on a $200+ gearbox.
