WE M4 CQB - Neverending full-auto :P

YouTube- WE M4 CQB - Full Auto on External Gas/HPA

If you have nothing to say but,

"It reminds me of paintball"

"Ewww ... a hose"

I will proudly tell you to shut the fuck up.

Yes you are entitled to your own opinion but in this case I don't give a damn.

This is part one of a modification I have in the works.

and this is how we will see squad weapons in gas blowback flavour soon.

I like it!

Neat! Would be perfect set up for SAW of some sort. Figure out box mag and you would be good to go.

Yup, that's pretty much all I was waiting for.

I for one have no problems with a hose and tank and have started a collection can for Daytonagun

Unfortunately it won;t do much for making WE mags more reliable.

Gee I distinctly remember seeing something almost exactly like this 15 years ago.. I think it was made by a company called ASAHI or JAC or something? Umm hard to remember.

Seriously though. I guess its just a full circle. The only question I have is.

Does having it attach via the mag really make that much sense? How (without extensive modification) would this be "good for a saw". It would make more sense if it feed directly into the gun and not through the ammo source, thus allowing you to use standard magazines already on the market.

Anywho. Very cool, but I think if you really like this kind of setup you should be moving away from converting GBBR's into external air via their mags and look into modification to their internals.

Cheers.

Didn't you watch that 1991 tokyo marui promo video? According to them external gas is cumbersome and sooo 80's!

I'm kidding. That's kick-ass! What's more impressive is that you made the mod. Someone has skills....it's you.

I didn't make it, the parts are from a Japanese company called PROTECH

Part two will involve attaching a drum magazine.

Rugger, when AFC re-designed the Escort System it was made for gas-in-mag you can't go back I believe.

For better durability of the external rig, I'd be more tempted to leave the fill valve as-is or plug it, and drill/tap an new QD air fitting out the back of the mag farther up so that the risk of ripping it off the bottom and possibly destroying the mag in the process the minute go you prone is minimized. Having the hose where it is -- sticking waaaay out the bottom -- is fine for the "shop" tests, but practically speaking, would not survive on the field. Better to try and tap the mag for the air hose in a more protected location or use a 90 deg elbow with QD connector. WA mags already have their fill valves on the back so it may be easier to do this kind of mod with their system. Oherwise, the ROF is astounding (need a box mag) and of course a HPA tank lasts a long long long lonnnnnngggg time given the low consumption rate and working pressure of these GBBRs. Nicely done...

My mistake Type 1 is what I'm using, Type 3 is for WA I made a mistake

I also have an elbow type fitting that would work so the hose wouldn't be vertical but horizontal.

Yeah drilling and tapping would work but I don't have the know-how or tools.

Very cool video! Being a paintball airsmith getting into airsoft, my first thought is setting your system up using the bottom of the grip as a stabilizing point for your air line and tapping the back of the clip as opposed to the bottom.
I've done many a paintball conversion using CAR-style stocks that make the stock an 'air-thru' system, altho i'm not sure if that would work for airsoft..
one point though; if you're running on a lower operating pressure, get your guerilla reg (on the tank) checked for it's output pressure. Get it into the 450-600 psi range and the palmer's stabilizer won't need to do a much work, increasing your consistency and air efficiency.
Again, nice work!

That's how the original Escort/Sun Project gas system was designed, this is a modification of that system to store gas in the magazine as the old classic designs lost popularity.

Again that was available with JAC another old Classic Airsoft manufacturer from Japan that no longer exists, those guns are still floating around though.

How would I go about doing that? Along with the tank and Palmers Stabilizer I have another mini-regulator which you cannot see in the video.
