VSR spring not fitting?

Am I going crazy or is there two different sizes of VSR spring.... the one I just picked up won't fit inside the piston.

The stock piston in guns will take 11mm springs.

But since you usually upgrade the rifle before swaping for a harder spring, the higher FPS springs (400+) are 13mm, made to be more consistent and to be used with a modified spring guide and piston.

yah the piston and guide are both upgraded to metal. Odd that it does not fit being the spring that came with it is a 500fps spring..... Good to know.
