Element AK 74 Metal body help

OK so i decided to takel the chalenge of installing a Element AK 74 metal body on my TM AK 47. The last problem i am having is the mech box wont sit all the way down in the body. There seems to be something in the way i believe it is either the two large red wires leading from the motor and battery to selector assembly or the little black box [dont know the real name for it] that is part of said selector assembly. Any constructive help is welcome.

The element AK74 receiver is the absolute worst receiver out there. Do yourself a huge favour and invest in a quality receiver from a higher end company. I've installed two of the elements back in the day when they were the only game in town, and they just are not worth the hassle for the crappy quality.

WGC carries a full line of receivers from many different manufacturers. You will have to pay via wire transfer for them however....

Redwolf is also a great place to get what you are looking for, and they still take CDN paypal.

If you are interested in keeping it to a milled Type 3 AK47 receiver, ehobby asia has some great deals on G&P and King Arms items.

What exactly are you trying to achieve with your upgrade to a metal body? Are you trying to convert your TM AK47 in to an AK74?

Well since an AK 47/ 74 reciever is a restricted item i can not order out of country. I wanted a metal body it what they had in stock so i bought it. If anyone could bring this in King Arms AK74 Metal Body with Tactical Grip (Black) i would buy it.
