g&g m16a3 rec
Im fairly new to airsoft and was looking at gettin a higher end aeg but looking to spend no more than 400 (since im pretty much alrdy broke). Im gettin AVed in a few days and will take a look for a gun in there, but im also lookin at online stores in the meantime. I was looking at the g&g m16a3 rec. Does anyone have any expierence with this gun? and what other guns might you recomend? I prefer m4/m16 with a solid stock and R.I.S.
Thanks https://www.buyairsoft.ca/rifles/ele...ull-black.html http://www.canadianairgunsupply.com/...m16a3-rec.html |

Go to games and try guns.
An M16 is quite a long gun. I am 6'2" and I feel stuck with one. The SRC G36s are quite good and in that price range. Plus the G36s are plastic/polymer in RS, so no need to install a metal body to get the real feel. That M16 is all plastic... |

Buy from one of the sites Brayden posted.
The M16 is a good gun and G&G is decent. I have a G&G M16A2 and frnakly aside from switching it to deans and throwing a lipo in it I haven't (in the 1 1/2 years I've owned it) and won't change anything internally. And don't ever let anybody scare you away from it with the height/size to rifle length comparison. I'm 5'6" and I have zero issues using my M16 is dense forest. |

@ Brayden- ive already looked at those sites in the past. A store near my house brings in orders from mach1 and canadian airgun supply so i figured those sites would prolly be best to order from. Plus i dont know how good VA guns are since they are clones. (?)
@Kos-Mos- Im 6'3'' so i doubt the length of an m16 will be too big of an issue. @ AngelusNex- i didnt think g&g guns were lipo ready. Thats definitely something im interested in. I was thinking about the ICS m16A3 RIS as well. http://www.mach1airsoft.com/web/cata...m&id=175&cat=1 anyone got expierience with ICS? im wondering about the split gearbox |

And again, I use an MG36 some times too... about the same size as an M16... but quite heavy... no running around with that, especially since I have to cover fire for my fireteam. |

Just an FYI, there is no such thing as lipo ready, it's just a marketing ploy. All guns can run lipo, some will just break faster but all will eventually fail under lipo (at least anything CA quality or lower)

The G&G M16 that AngelusNex has is most likely not a CAS version G&G REC line M16.
The REC line is CAS's lowest line of G&G AEG, it is definitely not Lipo ready like the SRC's are. Lipo ready means that their gear boxes have more durable internals that are ready to take the punishment that a 11.4V battery will give them (at high speed). Here is a comparison chart between CAs version G&G M4 ADVANCED (their best M4) vs SRC M4 Gen III: http://www.007airsoft.com/gngvssrc.htm Ken |
