WE and TM 1911
Are accessories and upgrade parts between TM 1911 and WE 1911 interchangeable? Im thinking about building a 1911 with a WE frame.

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

WE 1911 uses hicappa internals, not TM 1911 clone parts, and TM mags are not compatible

Oh? So i cant put TM hicapa accessories parts on a WE 1911 frame? Im planning to build a gun from scratch using the WE 1911 frame.

Not necessarily. I wouldn't bet on TM Hi-Capa parts fitting in a WE frame... plus, good luck with the crap tolerances on the slide rails; you could very well end up with a super wobbly slide in the end (TM 5.1 upper does fit and function, but it wobbles even more than if it were on the TM 5.1 lower, lol).

+1 to crap tolerances on the WE1911. Purchased a second mag and it got stuck in the frame. Had to sand down the sides of the mag to make it fit. Shows how bad the tolerances are off; the most important parts, the mag and frame, dont even fit out of the box.

i guess the tm 1911 has a unqiue internal, with which none of these metal 1911 could be compatible..

Styrak's got it. WE is proprietary (blend of a few Hi-Capa parts and a bunch of other misc parts that I haven't actually seen in any TM-esque GBB's), TM clones are similar to TM. WE is not a TM clone, ergo, WE has different parts.
