Take the selector switch out and check if the bearing is still there. Or you may have used it so much that the ball bearing has made a nice groove in between the holes where the ball bearing locks into, resulting in the ball bearing not even locking into position.

And next time if you need help post this in the Doctors Corner location.

More likely is that the inner piece that moves the selector plate or the selector plate itself has worn out its lobes. Both are plastic and wear out much faster than the outer selector.

1. take your left side selector off
2. take a tiny drill bit and, with just finger pressure/twisting, clean up and slightly deepen the detent holes in the body...they're probably worn (plastic bodys tend to do that).
3. take a look at the nub in the selector to see that it's still there...and not worn. If it's a ball bearing, then you're fine...if it's a plastic nub, you can reprofile it a little bit but it's a huge pain in the ass.
4. reassemble and test....most times simply cleaning up the detent holes will make it clickity-click again.

If the selector needs to be pressed tighter against the body, see if you can reassemble that way. If not you may need to shave the end of the selector rod just a little.

alright so I took it apart and did a little fixing tho Its mostly just back to the sloppy switching it was doing when I got it
when I took it apart it was indeed a plastic nub on the switch
would it be a good idea to buy a different selector switch to prevent these things ?

If you can't figure out how to mod it to work...buy one.
