So yea... I couldn't resist..

Right after I got age verified I got myself a SCAR CQC... :P

Gun looks friken sweet... Any reviews on how good it is? Preference wise? I was told it shoots 360 to 400ft/s?

There are a bunch of reviews for the SCAR. It depends what brand you got. Go youtube some vids.

Shouldn't you research the gun before you buy it?

What make SCAR did you get? AEG or GBBR? Give more info and people will be able to better answer your question.

Why are you scared? Because you looked up reviews only after buying?

Or did you mean scarred?

No pictures?

*EDIT* - When I get home I will try and save this thread with a picture of my SCAR/EGLM

Currently CQC set up because my long barrel has been sent out for modification/hop up unit. Will be going back to long when I get it back.

It's vega force.

Sorry Forgot to add. I liked the weight of it when I checked it out in the store but just wondering if anyone has one as I might look for some mods for it later

No it's just a joke just a fun name for the thread hehe...

I'm pretty sure it's not bad... I don't have it yet it's going to be delivered to me so still have time to change up. But anyways I'll look up some reviews.

You could always play a game or two with it and see if it's what you expected? I'd say that would give you a better review than anything on the internet

Actually yea if things go according to plan I will be trying it at a game later this week. There was an H version with silencer and case but too bad the mags weren't compatible with my M4

@empty_mags

OMGGGGG.... So sweet hahhaa... :P

So empty_mags right now urs is a SCAR CQC setup, but I saw online that the SCAR L comes with a barrel extention, and can be converted into a SCAR CQC when u remove the L barrel extension?

Also, in lots of online videos I see the SCAR L and SCAR H comes with a hard-case... however my dealer advised me that only SCAR H comes with a hard-case.. Did u get urs in a hard-case?

I didn't get a hard case with my VFC SCAR-L either. Anyways, it's an amazing gun. That's all I can say. You can google more detailed reviews on it.

I am not familiar with airsoft.

What my question is, does the element of surprise work on a typical airsoft match?

That picture isn't even set up, I actually have all my shit laying around in my basement like that. :P Been outa practice for a while so I have been running mag drills and transitions.

Anyways Yes I got a hardcase with mine, but I got it used. I have the long barrel extension as well as seperate inner barrel and hop up units to allow for "quick" barrel changes. As quick as a SCAR can be, seeing as it is probably the hardest/slowest AEG to actually do an inner barrel change out on.

Thanks for letting me know empty, I'll be sure to check if the barrel extension included with mine don't want to get ripped.
