In need of information

My friend and i both want to get into airsoft and were looking into the different types of guns we would be interested in we both have lots of prior experience handling real remington 700's and w'eve decided to go with something similar for what we would like to do.

Now i have been searching and its fairly hard to compile a decent list of true m24 or m40 based airsoft guns from the top brands if anyone is willing to who has tons of knowledge on the products out there be able to post a list of guns that are modeled after either the m24 or m40 that would be much apreaciated by both of us. (spring electric or gas)

What about a remington 700, you can buy a KJ M700. 007 airsoft sells them. KJW or Tanaka makes them,

But just so you know, Airsoft sniper rifles are nothing like real ones so prior experience with real ones means nothing. And they are a horrible starting point for new players as most will tell you. I suggest go to a game see if anyone will let you take a look at what they use, ask some questions and get A/V well your at it. If your set on a Sniper rifle the classifieds is a good spot to look as well.

yea i plan on getting age verified and i also realize that airsoft/real guns are not the same thank you for reinforcing that. But we still want long guns sneaky sneaky and such

im not looking to buy yet but when i do i will be A/V'd Until then all i would like is a list of guns modeled after the m40 or m24 as i notice some guns dont use the same name but are almost identical.

you really don't have to look to far. Keep in mind some of those you cant buy they are restricted. I also have zero experience with buyairsoft, I haven't herd anything all that great about them. Was just getting more of an image reference for you.

the CA m24 which seems like the best choice at this point for us weve been looking at it for a bit the vsr seems to be based on the m40 but not a fan of it to be honest if anyone knows of any other m40 or m24 based designs would be much apreaciated thanks for the links monaro

the kj m700 looks pretty good too i hear gas can be a bit of pain with our weather in our great country true? false?

Its true that on warm to hot days the KJW M700 can shoot way over allowed standard field FPS limits, shot consistency can become an issue when temperatures fluctuate not to mention safety for your targets.

so far safety comfort and feel wise im leaning ca m24 that said i also understand its fairly mediocre out of the box compared to most of the other rifles mentioned but can be upgraded into a top of the line long gun

If your going to be serious about getting a sniper rifle, do NOT buy a clone. Horrible tolerances, and your performance will be poor.

For sniper rifles, if pretty much go brand, or nothing.

Nice part about the KJW M700 is that you can adjust the velocity, so always chrony before playing and make sure your within the safety specs for the field.

Mine was a pre earlier non take down model and unfortunately didn't have an FPS adjuster from what I could tell. Its an awesome addition to the newer models. Is FPS adjustment available in the standard as well as the take down KJW or just the take down?

Only problem with this is players can crank it up after they chrony.....

not saying players will but they can, same goes with the GBBR's out there with the adjuster.
