Where to find SRC Parts & Compatibility? (Gen III)
I was just wondering:
Where can I find SRC Upgrades & Replacement Parts? Any help is much appreciated, So far I've come up with these website: AGC Top Gear Airsoft & Hobby Shop (The prices seem to be all broken, most parts cost 1 Philippine Pesos, shipping to Canada cost like 14 Philippine Peso (which is like a few pennies Canadian).. ?? ) OnTarget Airsoft OnTarget Airsoft Ebay Store Tactical Air (supposedly carries SRC Parts, but so far only the general stuff like mags and Silencer/Tracer unit) So far, no great luck in finding an SRC Parts Retailer... Another thing, I've been reading conflicting comments/reviews about SRC Parts being TM Compatible.. Is there a Definite Answer? Are SRC Parts Tokyo Marui Compatible? |

One of my US suppliers carries a wackload of SRC parts, but they're just started to list the GenIII guns.
Ken @ 007airsoft should have a good selection. What exactly are you looking for? Jeff

I wouldn't want to purchase an SRC just to find out I'd need to ship it back to Taiwan if anything happens. Or not be able to get a lower/higher springed mechbox, etc.. I am also specifically trying to see if it is at all possible to get the full color SRC G36 Receiver. (I have requested to get AV'ed, and am supposed to attend a game next week, but so far no AV'er will be present.. the AV'ing process is long and frustrating, and I want to attend a game to watch and get AV'ed, but nothing so far).. |

You'll be able to claim for warranty if anything goes wrong within the warranty period if you buy one of the "cansoft" models imported by 007. This mean syou jsut send it back to the retailer you bought it from in Canada. You won't be able to have any warranty if you buy a used (or even new non-007 model) off the classifieds.

I can't guarantee you they are all compatible, however MOST parts (like the mechbox) should be TM compatible.

Any G36 mechbox will do, the SRC G36 is pretty much TM compatible so I've heard.

For the most part any internal upgrade component that would fit in a TM v3 mechbox should work in a SRC v3 mechbox. While the two companies are different, after market internal compatibility should not be an issue. In rare instances there could be issues with alignment or fitment however these issues are more common in extreme low end companies.
Example: A version 3 cylinder head for a mauri v3 mechbox should work without issue in an SRC v3 mechbox.

and, unless you get a Lemon (dunno could happen...... :S), replacing internals doesnt necesarilly means replacin the whole gearbox.....
Ths SRC Gen 3 internlas are rock solid.....dont worry about that! |

Well in case of mechbox troubles, this can easily be fixed with standard replacements part matching the version of your mechbox (G36 is a version 3;so theoretically, most v3 parts made for tokyo marui aeg will be compatible). Ordering complete gearbox is also possible (and recommended if your gun is somewhat unusual internally like an MP40 for instance that possess a weird V3). The SRC V3 mechbox will last a while (it is build with good quality parts) - in case of troubles, you should call your local gun doc or ask for help BEFORE opening the mechbox (putting a mechbox back together is not easy - took me 3 hours the first time )

This may be a necro post but... does anyone know where can I get a SRC G36 GenIII? It's out of stock in all stores and it isn't an old design
As complement, I want the electric version, not the GBB |
