Real sights
Hi all.
I'm interested in picking up some Troy Industries mini battle sights, to replace the junk on my WE. I'm tired of clone precesion (or lack there of), and am willing to invest in something nice. Questions: -Does anyone know if Troy Industries sells to Canada? -Can "Civies" purchase real iron sights, or is a PAL (or something) needed? -Will real iron sights be denied entry at the border? Just wondering. |

- can't help on that
- no problem you can buy em - unless there is a US export restriction, you'll have no problems. |

The only thing you need a PAL for is a functioning firearm, and ammunition.
Also, why are you trying to buy from overseas or the States? There's a lot of good stores in Canada that probably have what you would want. |

I just found Brownell's whilst searching. I'm going to send them an email with inquiries.

Thats a tonne of money for just airsoft sights. The Magpul flips get good reviews and are a hell of a lot less, if thats something you'd look into.

King Arms makes a real nice set of the Troys! I picked up a set a few weeks ago and love'em. Well built,I just couldn't find it to put the money out for the real ones when the King arms are so nice! I do have real EoTech optic's but i use them all the time and the Troy flip ups are more for show than go.

Ya, the real ones are friggin expensive. But ya do get whaT ya pay for...
It seems that all the clone sights are the regular battle versions. I'm particularly interested in the micro versions, for 416-variants: http://store.troyind.com/Micro_Battl...ar-smbt-00.htm Anyone know of clone manufacturers that do the micro version? Will it matter about the size differences, standard or micro? Or should I get optics first, measure the diameter / radius of the optics, then get irons to match hight, for co-witnessing?
