V2 Mechbox Rear-Wiring issue

I need some indications on how to make the battery wires and mosfet wires fit from the back of the aeg and when it passes through the stock/buffer tube. I get stuck where I put back my ASAP plate, then try to put back the buffer tube, but it just won't fit properly.

My guess is that I either need to dremel it or buy a new tube, I would just like to get some advice before doing any modification.

Sorry for the bad pictures, I only had my cell on hand.

If it were up to me, I would just go with the dremel before investing more money.

So I just dremel the inside of the buffer tube to enlarge the space where the wires go?

Here?

You could definitely do that. There are a couple of ways to get this done

Another thing you could do is you you could cut away at the receiver itself and grind into the actual mounting tube underneath and tuck the wires into it, just grind away enough so there is room to slide the tub on. Its a dirty hack but it works.

Honestly though I would grind the buffer tube, as they are cheaper to replace. Replacing a body is way more expensive than replacing a botched buffer tube.

As you can see on this M4 I cut away at both the receiver and the buffer tube.

Easiest thing to do is to take a chunk out right behind where the gearbox wires come out (into the little tube thing) and run the wires through the little tube.

You mean in the lower receiver itself, the part protruding out at the back of the body? Instead of going through the plate then the bottom of the tube?

I believe that is what Amos means.

Just dremel out more space to thread the wiring set up through.

I've always just drilled a hole in the bottom of the buffer tube mount (through the body plate, and through the tube itself), deburred, and then cut a chunk out of the mounting washer. The wires pass into the tube, the washer sits where it should so you can mount it normally, and go from there.
