9.6v 3600mah large bat in TM M16 stock

Before I start hacking up my stock, can a 9.6v 3600mah large type battery fit inside a TM M16 full stock with some modification?

It should fit no problem in a full m16 stock, but if those gears are stock TM, they may not be able to take a battery that intense. I've had TM gears shred themselves on a 9.6 mini battery, not fun.

TM stock gears + 9.6 = semi auto ONLY

otherwise and this has happened to me, they will strip after a few thousand rounds, nothing worse then being in a game when suddenly *wirrrrrr* motor turns but the gun won't shoot.

I had a question on the same subject. Would the Intelect 9.6v 3600 MaH Large battery fit in a full stock AK?

Depends on the type/brand of AK. In a TM, no...it will only take an 8.4 large unless you cut out some of the inner stock supports.

I dunno, my TM gears lasted fine with a big 9.6V large. They only stripped because I received a mislabelled 350fps spring that was actually a 450fps spring lol. Lasted about 100 rounds, and then whiiiiiiir.

But I would say that they can handle a 9.6 large assuming stock spring.

I've made some measurements and I've found that the only significant piece I need to cut out of my stock is a horizontal cylindrical support that sits perpendicular to the length of the stock (it connects the two halves together). This also happens to be the support that the end of the battery sits against when inserted into the stock. I'm not sure if cutting this piece out with significantly affect the structural integrity of the stock. Does anyone have experience with this?

If modifying this stock isn't possible, I think the King Arms M16 stock has enough space to support a 9.6v large battery.

Its on a Kraken stock. I cut out the lateral supports. When i put my stock 8.4v in the stock, their is about an inch more space. Should I be alright?

The KA stock will fit up to a 10.8v battery without modification, so you'll definitely be good there

i can't comment on the Tm stock, as I've never actually had one.

Getting a new stock is a last resort though. I've already sunk a ton of money into this project and I'm at the point where I just want it finished as painlessly as possible.
