AK metal bodies

From my understanding there are 3 different styles of AK metal bodies, and everyone clones from them, LCT, TM, VFC
TM has element cloning them, VFC has Dboys cloning them, etc

My question where does SRC, King Arms, ICS, TSD, Cyma, fit in here, or do they have their own style

My next question how are these styles different?

If anyone has links of other threads that explain this, that would be great

They differ in the way that the front end connects to the body

TM style has 4 holes which take 4 screws

VFC has body pins that hold the rear sight block to the body

From both CYMA AK's that I own, CYMA follows the TM style with the 4 screws on the underside of the receiver that connect both halves.

The cyma 105's front end, tho it has 4 screws, is not tm compatible though, it has a "step" that makes. It sit differently in thr body

SRC AK bodies TM compatible, but their AKS-74U is a VFC clone.

LCT AKs are their own style. Same as Guarder and Inokatsu, all made by LCT back in the day. But they do make TM compatible bodies as well.

ICS are their own thing.

TSD just rebrands, so it depends what the original manufacturer is.

GnG are their own thing (they use 4 screws on the bottom but are not compatible with TM at all), except their newer cheap clear lines that are simply TM clones (not the nicer ones with the full bolt carriers and such).

King arms are TM compatible.

Cyma AK-47 style bodies are TM compatible. Bodies off their sidefolders (AK105/AK74M/AKS74/AKSU) on the older models are close to being compatible with the 4 screws and all. Newer ones are a mix of VFC and LCT style.

JG AK-47 style bodies are TM compatible as well. Their newer AKs (AKSU/AK-74/etc) are VFC clones.

IMO King Arms and SRC make the nicest TM compatible bodies for the price.

The Reason I ask, is I want to put a Daytona drop in GBB kit in a AK, however it says its design for LCT line, and with minor mods to the gas block, it will work with VFC/Dboys line.

http://airsoftgasblowbacks.com/Daytonagun_Workshop.html

My question, is the metal body itself (not including the front end attachment) different with TM and LCT or VFC?
I am willing to mod the front end gas block more willing than that I can reorder if I screw up, but the metal body is a little more difficult to enquire

Not to raise an old thread from the dead, but I just bought a G&G Combat Machine RK/AK 47. Is there a metal lower receiver that will fit it? I would also like to put a wood kit on it, so again, what would be compatible?

I would also like to add a scope mount, so that is something I need to consider when changing receivers too.

Thanks

Are their any retailers in Canada that just sell AK47 TM compatible metal bodies? My search is not yielding any results

BAM! SRCs are very strong too for what they are. They're the best you can get for TM bodies aside from the LCT and DTP ones...but DTP receivers are no longer made or available.
