Looks like it's cycling quite well given the weight of the slide.

Chrono-ed the fucker yet?

Nice work, Mike.

So many things can go wrong when you start tinkering with GBBs, its nice to see a project come to such a nice fruition.

thank for the nice words guys! i am pleased. the cycling is actually faster normally, but i haven't lubed it lately. lubing makes a TON of difference with this piece..

in fact, it is like a whole new gun, but i am out of silicone spray, and the gun was cold last night so it was actually slow in that vid

mre to comee, just wait, i have some good ideas coming up

Now I'm no expert with GBB's in the least... I can disassemble and repair broken parts.. but I don't have alot of experience with tuner builds...

Wouldn't the heavy steel slide counter-act your quest for high FPS? Wouldn't the heavy slide require a lot more effort and pressure from the gas that could have otherwise been put into propelling the BB? (Read: Did you try it with a non steel slide?)

No since the slide only starts cycling after BB has been shot out...

It'll use more gas to cycle, but that part of the equation has no effect on fps...

I know alot of people on here know all the specs, and I couldn't find any info. Would I have valve clearance issues, or with the compression be so low it would be useless? And the real question is it possible?
