Check out mechbox.com. They have disassembly / assembly video of an MP5. At least that will help you take it apart and put it back together again. As for cleaning, I don't know. Short of cleaning the barrel regularly, you should only have to clean out the inside of the mechbox very periodically. I like to say at about 20 000 rounds.

HUZZAH!

Seems like no one else really caught that either, or just didn't care.

Um, this lad here actually has a gun. And honestly, his writing tends to give me seizures.

I dont think my gun is jg. Stock jg's have a orange barrel when you remove the silencer right? My barrel is a goldish color.

My MP5 also has a plain brass barrel. That's pretty standard for barrel material.

I don't know what you have for a gun, but I do know for a fact it isn't a TM. But if it isn't clear and it works well, you still got a decent gun for $200.

Color of the inner barrel won't determine it. All I've seen out of stock guns, JG's, TM's and CA's is a brass colored inner.
I've worked on a number of JG's and few things I've found is that the gauge of wire is thinner then a TM or CA. JG's should have a stamp 'China' either on the upper reciever or motor plate. TM's also have should be stamped, indicating 'Tokyo Marui'.
Nevertheless, if you could supply us with pictures it may be easier to tell what make it is.

He's already stated earlier in the thread that there are no TM or H&K trades (which all TMs have), and no Made in China on the motor plate or visible elsewhere on the gun.

Anyway, we're already established that it's not a TM. It may or may not be a JG. Like I said, JG typically have "Made in China" on the motor plate (the bottom of the pistol grip) as the only marking on the gun.
