Resident Evil - 2002 Resident Evil:Apocalypse - 2004 Resident Evil:Extinction - 2007 Saint, you'll find the "Costume Department" under "Other Crew" in the film listings. (Nice Try...) The games & the movies have their purists, & when I get every thing together, they will no doubt be howling about it. As with all things, film based, I'm going to exercise my right to a little "Artistic License", and lean a little more toward what I envision an Umbrella Soldier to look like. A lot more "Real World" & a lot less "Film Pretty". |

You have to have the guns to go with the load-out. From an Arnie's article, 109 pages of goodness:

93R type forward stabilizer point (front grip). Similar in design & use as the P90.

No you guys seem to be missing the point, He doesn't care about S.T.A.R.S, he wants to know about umbrella, and I think I have catch the bug now.
He wants to be the bad men in the badass gear looking for a fight. Hey Savage keep me in on the info, I want to team up on this one, I need a new kit. Since mine is for sale anyway. |

Sorry my bad, thought that you could adapt it. Here is some umbrella stuff:
Hmmm, not as much selection as star, can't you just swap the symbols? Here are some patches and what not on ebay: http://myworld.ebay.com/gwk2008/ Here are some Cosplay, cause that is what Airsoft is anyways, shudder... :P and if being a bad guy wasn't enough... Props for games: Finally, a site that gives a complete load-out and links for getting the gear to be Umbrella: http://wolfpack-scifi.org/costuming.html |

Daes,
I'm very happy with the material you've been finding in regards to Resident Evil, & I appreciate and all such finds you might have. True, I'm gearing towards the Umbrella Soldier, but to understand one, you must know the other as well. (Wow, how Quay Chang Caine of me... ) Keep 'em coming, folks! I've always said, you want to go geek, go to the geeks; Comic geeks, game geeks, movie geeks, cosplay geeks, anime geeks... the list is endless & everyone has information, thoughts & opinions on it & about it. I'm open to all of them. Have at it! |

I'm curious if anyone has seen these Umbrella Corporation patches in Canada. There all over ebay, but I don't want to buy them piecemeal & end up paying through the nose. I'd like to pick up everything I need at the same time, from one place in Canada, if possible.
Here's what I'm after: 2.5" x 2.5" embroidered patch x2 (one for each shoulder) 6" x 6" embroidered patch x 1 (same as above, only larger for back of assault vest.) 2.5" x 4.5" embroidered patch x 1 (for front of assault vest) I know these have to be in Canada somewhere, comic stores, game stores, novelty shops, has anybody seen them?

If it helps at all....

This vest looks a lot like the cheap Rhodesian 'all arms' kind of thing they sell online. Paintballers buy them a lot of the time because they are cheap and look good. I had one at some point. Nothing wrong with quality, but I found the mag pockets poorly placed. That and they didn't fit AK mags. Anyway, if you're after something like that it wouldn't be hard to find. Few alterations and you are dead on. As for the holsters, they ALSO look like what I can get at the local surplus place. If I remember correctly, Carlos Olivera carried two chrome Desert Eagles in them, so they are altered in exactly the way I altered mine to carry my chrome Desert Eagle.

Some more nicely done UBCS
As for umbrella weapons: Res-Evil costume and discussion site: http://www.scifihero.net/forums/index.php?showforum=14 Some more links of interest: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umbrell...easure_Service http://www.fallout-uk.com/ Other than that, I have had no luck with finding a Canadian store for those patches. Best of luck with your kit -Daes |
