My total before shipping was $320. The only big items were the System 7 gun and metal upgrade package.
And 8 weeks for delivery! Talk about a slow boat from China. |

OK the kit is here but not the System 7 MAC.
I’m having some trouble fully disassembling the Pre-System 7 gun. Are there any instructions online? |

After much work and money, YES the system 7 will work with the metal frame.
The system 7 bolt is very fragile and impossible to repair. They should have a metal bolt. |

Hey, do you mean you can fit the G&P metal kit to KSC m11a1 ns2??

Cansoft Mac11 NS2 exclusively.
I just bought a used Cansoft Mac11 and I am hoping it is the NS2 system but how can I tell without having both kind of magazines.
Regards. |

All Cansoft KWA Mac11's are NS2.

Aside from the fact that I think the only M11 cansoft version they make is the KWA NS2 which is equivalent to the KSC System 7! Hope this helped! |

THE ANSWERS
The NS2 has a metal bolt, but the piston is shitty and wears down or breaks every few thousand rounds. Spares are about $13 each on ehobby. You can use the G&P steel kit on the NS2 version. And it is the shit. The loading ramp may need to be dremeled/filed down a bit if the piston is catching/rubbing on it. If you don't, within a few hundred rounds you will likely wear down the part on the piston that catches on the BB follower and then it will still work, but it will dry fire when the mag is empty. A temporary remedy for this is to file the "arm" on the piston down so it is flat again. However, that can only be done a few times before it is too short. Also, watch to make sure the rubber pads on the back of the bolt don't fall off. They'll probably need to be super-glued on. And the hopup rubber soaks up silicone oil really fast, so if you let it sit for a couple weeks after a game, it'll swell and the BBs will be shooting way too high. Solution: buy spare rubbers ($3.50 from KWA USA) and when they swell, soak them in 99% alcohol for a while and then let them dry. Also... watch the screws on the bolt to make sure they don't get loose. I suggest locktite. The piston also may rub on / get stock on the bolt (you can tell if the paint on the bolt is rubbed off above the piston and if the piston sometimes "sticks" when it goes forward). If that is happening, the top of the front part on the piston needs to be sanded down a bit. You also want to watch for occasional swelling of other rubber parts and check that the BBs don't look "dirty". The BBs may appear "dirty" because they rub off paint from inside the magazine. It's really a troublesome gun to use because it isn't really all that reliable, however most issues are minor (once the modifications I stated have been done) and can be fixed on the field in a few seconds (jams) or off the field in a few minutes (switching a swelled rubber, replacing a piston, cleaning). You will get a lot of kills with it in CQB, but you'll also get shot sometimes because you pulled the trigger and it jammed (very swelled hopup rubber or BBs sometimes pop out of the mag and get stuck between the piston and the receiver- easily picked out on field) or dry fired (BBs or the mag follower can lock up if you're not careful or if it is dirty). It's a really fun gun to use, and the G&P steel kit is awesome, but I wouldn't recommend it to a new player or someone who isn't ready to do a lot of maintenance and deal with its issues, because even with all the modifications, it's still going to jam every few mags and you'll get shot because of it. For me though, it's awesome. The most fun gun I've ever had, and I'll probably never sell it, but it's a hassle and I always have a backup at the game.
