i dont know if anyone had noticed anything about the PGC hopup rubbers.
the two that came with my PGC PRO-WIN 8mm mechbox has issues that i just recently found while trying to troubleshoot why i was getting BB jams and striped pistons. turns out that the openning on the rubber that the BB feeds through and seals around the nozzle was far too narrow, the dia of the openning was about 5.5mm which is too tight. so what ended up happening was that when the nozzle pulled back and loaded a BB it didnt have enough strength to puch the BB past the openning and into the hop chamber. that would then seal the nozzle and i would get back pressure in the cylender. since the piston couldnt move back to its rest position befor the sector gear made contact, i would strip the teeth on it. now that im using a different hopup rubber i have no more issues. to test this just rest the hop rubber on your desk and place a BB on top on the openning, it should hold the BB with just enough pressure as not to let it drop through. you should only be able to puch the BB through with a light push, if it seems to hold too tight, then you should get another hop rubber. now i have zero feed issues and now more stripping of my pistons.
