Do you still adjust the position/tension of the contact patch using the hopup arm? Also, do you mod your bucking to remove the bump?

yes to both, but the loss in performance is quite simply due to the contact patch being thinner than before. it makes installation MUCH easier but you've got to trade something.

that being said, the performance will pretty much whip anything else out there anyway, so it's really not that big of a deal.

the install goes the same way, remove the bucking mound and file/sandpaper the patch to fit. the z-kit simply removes quite a lot of the fussing about with the barrel window and patch.

Have you used the z-kit? If so, which barrel did you find works? Would be nice if HS5 posted a list of known-good barrels.

not me personally, it's just what I've gathered.
the Prommy 6.03 seems to be the barrel of choice, with the Madbull 6.03 being a popular budget choice. works with any barrel though.

Is that so? Hunterseeker claims that there's no loss in performance but I guess the only way to truly find out is to compare both of them directly. Probably best to move this over to the Rhop thread soon.

I recall somebody saying it wasn't _quite_ the same as a proper r-hop, but mileage my vary I guess. regardless, I'd still have to use 6 more uncut ir patches before I'd order another batch and draw my own conclusions.

as for the OP, there are a couple of techs in town that could do a little work, AFAIK I'm the only one that has even bothered with r-hops (dirty rich PTW owners! GRAWR!). if you don't really care, it'd be easy enough to switch your bucking to something better yourself.
