Need some help - ICS S.I.R. With Crane Stock CAS
I'm having extreme difficulty finding out specific info on this thing. So far I've only found one website offering it and honestly.. not to much info is given.
I need to know what battery comes with it. The inner barrel size. (not length) and what parts are metal/aren't. Upgrade concerns: First off I know nothing about upgrading as I've only been playing for 2 years with stock equipment. This time I want to upgrade slightly. I was thinking of adding a betetr spring. Any suggestions on a setup/all in one package? http://www.mach1airsoft.com/web/cata...m&id=185&cat=1 *Edit* before some goes finding an alternate, I just want to state that I love the crane stock so I'd prefer to stick with this model. PM Shinobii on the forums.
I have one of these from Mach1 as my personal gun. I swapped a metal body on to it. Everything else that should be metal *is* metal. You will love the crane stock battery setup, it is very very convenient. No more pinched wires! Out of the box they all need a few screws tightened, but after that it has been a very solid gun with a wicked rate of fire. It gets amazing range with no upgrades so far. I would definitely recommend it. Try sending your email again, it is unlike Mach1 not to reply within a few days. Jeff

I've had dealt with Shinobii at Mach1, real nice guy to deal with plus he's the only guy I know of in this country THAT has any ICS parts worth looking for. He should get back to you via Pm soon as he's not one to leave you hanging.
cheers

Yup,
You should contact him. He's an cool guy actually. I know him personally! Sorry if you sent a PM and I didn't get to you. It is unlike me not to follow up. ICS insanity is taking place!! We're running full steam ahead right now. Visit our website. http://www.mach1airsoft.com/web/catalog.php?cat=7 This is the gallery area, and I've thrown in a few Cranestock images for you to see the battery, and it's installation. You have a beast of a battery in the 9.6V 2,000 maH which absolutely shoots the infinite motor into over drive. The rate of fire is insane. Pretty sweet set up, and as Jeff mentioned, a great piece of machinery right out of the box. PM me or send me an email to sales@mach1airsoft.com if you have any more technical questions.
