CA M14 Scout Flash Hider

Does anyone know how to remove it. I looked at the breakout picture and can see the flash hider and small ring collar under the front sight are sperate. The picture looks like it comes off on it's own but I don't want to break anything.

Hi,

There might be a small set screw that locks the nut in place. Since it is in a Castellated nut, it may be set in one of the slots of the nut. Remove the set screw, and then turn the nut and the front sight will come out with it. Just out of curiosity, why do you want it removed? I am looking for a CA scout flash hider and sight assembly.
