battery upgrade.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying a JG m4-s system and I was wondering if I would upgrade the battery from a Mini 8.4v 1100mAh battery pack to a 9.6v 1200-1600mAH battery pack. If it would increase the rate of fire? Obviously a 9.6v would need some modification to fit but I think I can make work.

Yes it would. It will also improve your trigger response and you'll wonder how you lived without it.

Adding a bigger battery isn't that difficult. You have a couple options 1 & 2 don't require and major modification, 3 & 4 require some work.

1. A nunchuck 9.6 battery may fit in the existing RIS on that gun. Check with the seller to make sure.

2. You could get an external battery box like this one. http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1247

3. You could also get a crane stock like this one. http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1170 For this to work you would have to rewire your mechbox to the rear.

4. If your a fan of full stocks like me, you could rewire the mechbox to the rear and install a full stock like this http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=202 They hold really big batteries. I have 2 8.4 4200mah batteries that can get me through a few days solid gaming without recharge.
