SOPMOD upgrading
Anyone ever upgrade the internals on a sopmod? if so how does it affect the recoil system?
I just bought a new M4 SOCOM and it should ship tomorrow. I'm going to put a tightbore and bushings in it but was also thinking of a silent piston/cylinder head set. |

Unfortunetly for us, the laws for airsoft differ greatly from how the laws for airsoft works in Japan. Currently I believe there may only be a handful of people who may posses one in Canada at this time. Hopefully one of them will be able to supply you some info if they have attempted an upgrade. Even though I have never handled one, I imagine simple upgrades such as bushings, a tightbore and replacing some of the compression components would not effect the recoil system. I shouldnt to my knowledge atleast, however I could be wrong.
