Gold plated bullet connectors
They are used mainly for RC helicopters. I've been wondering if I should put them in instead of deans connectors because the space in my crane stock is a little cramped with deans.
Does anyone have any experience with these? any issues with them regards using them in an AEG? Any info would be appreciated.

Deans are already fairly small compared to large tamiya. As for bullet connectors I have never used them so can't say for sure but the only thing I would be concerned about would be the amount of metal, I know people who tried to use micro deans and they just melted.

Hmm I see. the bullets do seem a bit more substantial than the micro deans.
Normal deans are installed right now and they do fit but it would be nicer if the crane stock could be adjusted more freely. Right now once its extended, it's difficult to push it back in.

Are you sure it's the plug? Did you try the heatshrink with the wire coiled around a pen so it's stays springy like a pigtail?
With just the loose pins on the battery you'll really increase the chance of them touching and causing a short.

bullet conectors end up taking more space than deans length wise i have them on a few of my rc motors they are nice for ease of swapping motors, but if they are constantly taken on and off they loosen up a lot and will glitch jsut like tamiya connectors over time deans are the best connectors IMO
