Fair enough. I ended up removing it anyways, since I am using a MASK sorbo piston head and I tried to cycle it by hand and it did catch on the second tooth slightly.

BTW, just recorded my gun firing and used SSF to determine the number of RPS. Came out to be 18, and I'm pushing an M120 spring.

So.. A little quick... I would say that the piston tooth shaving was a good precautionary measure :P.
