Question O-ring dimensions and name

Hey all

What are the reference and official dimensions of the O-ring used in AEG cylinders ? (I'm talking TM standard here)

I wanna buy some a little bit bigger but I have no idea what reference to search for.

Also micro-measuring a deformed rubber piece is not easy

thanks for your help!

Oh mann....be damed if I can remember, but most "O" rings used on airsoft tend to be AC (air conditioner) "O" rings, which are thinner than standard "O" rings. But the one you are looking for should be easy to match/up size with an "O" ring kit at any Canadaian Tire of hardware store. A full small set should be around $5-$7....or you can raid a buddies shop.

Just try one size that looks right, and then try it with a smaller or larger one until you get it right "O" ring. Physically insert the piston head (with the "O" ring installed) into the cylinder until you find the one that gets you a good seal with out jambing on the edges of the cylinder when you insert it. And it is a standard size based on the cylinder's size regardless of which brand of gun.

ok thanks!
yes I have a bunch of plumbing o-rings sets, but they are either exactly the same size or way off.
I noticed on the internet you can get sets of orings in super precise sizes, that's why.

Try asking on airsoftmechanics.com...they have tons of info and lots of users who are tech geeks to help. Someone there will know.
