G&G GR16 SOPMOD Stock screw info
Good evening
Thanks for reading I have a GR16 Sopmod stock and I've lost the screw that secures the stock to the receiver. I don't know the tech name of that part and I can't seem to find it for sale as a replacement part alone without buying another stock. I hope I can purchase this screw somewhere, maybe a hardware store but I dont know the length or tread type. Any info on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Regards GRM7 |

if you bring the recever shell to the store, you can find out thread type, buy one with threads to the top, then cut it to the right length

Bringing a Replica Firearm receiver to a hardware store is not going to make him any friends.
G&G is known for good documentation and costumer service. Try contacting them directly about your situation. Here's G&G's official exploded diagram of the CQB-H for part number reference. http://b2b.guay2.com/drawings/g4/G4-CQB-H.pdf (Big file, save it to your HD, it takes a while to download)

This is the long one?
I've got one here. Length from tip to base of screw head (i.e. total length minus head thickness) is 3.125". Threaded section is 1.125" long. Head diameter is 5/16". Philips drive, but that's arbitrary. It's fine-thread, not regular thread. Looks like National Fine Thread # 10 (.190 in. shaft, 32 t.p.i. fine.) I don't have calipers here to 100% confirm the thread info, but that would be a good place to start. |

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I'd just necro this one.
Anyone with this stock or with the Socom version answer a quick question for me? Is there space in the tube of this stock for a lipo? Socom version lipo for M4 stock tubes. It is 4 inches long. Thanks. |
