i am 28 years old right now
i was planning on buying off of mopic or maybe getting age verified and then buying one in the classifieds but i would rather get a new gun compared to a used one

sorry for double posting again
but would this be a good deal for use in a G36C?
http://www.bbbastard.com/our_battery_solution.htm

also would large batteries fit into the battery compartment on the KWA version?

You need to read the import-restricted parts list in the import FAQ.

If you are buying a KWA from Mopic, just ask him for a lipo and charger too, I think he has them.

But for someone who is new and has less experience, I WOULD NOT go for the lipo. The method of charging and maintaining the right charge and being careful not to let it drop beyond a certain point, etc. etc. is probably a little much. A 9.6 large in the bigger KWA handguard would be more than decent for you. I'm not a fan of the big handguard myself. You can get a small handguard and use minis in it.

LiPO would chew through cardboard like a hot knife through butter though in terms of ROF given the KWA's 9mm bushings. You'd also empty even your highcap real fast.

If you're in Calgary, go to jocairsoft.com forums and some more local people could help you out if you have other questions.

I have a G36C KWA...the internals are fine and with a tight bore barrel (the only upgrade you need with that gun). I have a 6.03 Madbull Python and with this installed the gun is firing 380 FPS.
Contrary to what some say...the range and accuracy is as good as any M4 I have owned or played against (with normal length barrels).
As for scope.....if you are going for a German army look...they use the iron sights...or an Eotech style red dot.

The KWA takes a large style 8.4V battery. I use a 3400MAH battery and have never run out of juice in a game...of any length. However, I have used a 9.6V 1800 mah battery in it and it did increase the rate of fire slightly.

So...there is my input based on experience with the gun you are wanting to purchase. I also have a TSD and CA G36. The KWA has by far the most reliable feeding as well as the best designed hop up in my opinion.
