KSC USP vs KSC USP (System7)
Okay so here is the scoop. I am looking to buy a KSC Brand USP. This will be my first gas gun. The reason I have made this thread is because I would like some outside expertise/opinions.
Also what are the actual internal differences between the two, its nearly impossible to find anything on the system7. Thanks for your help, Jordan |

umm System 7 magazine are alot easier to find in stock in these days, metal slide is available both at WGC and Dentrinity. System 7 is the newer version.
Thats all I can say, you might wanna do your own research |

System 7 is useless on semi-auto guns.
I may be mis-informed.. but I have yet to see anything proving myself wrong. |

Mags and parts for both are widely available. Just check out eHobby. They have both mags. ABS slides at eHobby are $1 a piece, and they hold up well.
Take Amos' advice. |

could you explain? I know there would be less cool down but why is it useless?

ok, here is the lowdown. System 7 is the new system. The older USP models are being discontinued and ONLY the System 7 stuff will be available soon. the new system is just that. completely new. That means new blowback chamber, mags, slide, and inner barrels. now, that being said, the new system was designed to lessen the "cool-down effect" in full auto pistols. Amos is saying that since the USP is semi auto, it isn't necessary. That being said, its not a bad thing either. if you want to do rapid shots, it will be easier and put less strain on the gun with the System 7, as opposed to the older system. Either way, get the System 7 (from a Canadian retailer, once your are age verified of course) since the older USP model is being discontinued.

Kool thanks very much guys!
DONSTER 125, thank you for the break-down on Amos's reply, I didn't really understand it until I got to yours. As for the age vitrifaction , that's a work in progress, but hopefully will e taken care of before christmass. As for the Canadian retailer... I wouldn't go about it any other way! Not worth the risk. once again, thanks for the input. Jordan |
