Angry Grinding Noise

First of all, I have a Kraken AK-47, its been working fine since but now whenever I try to shoot, It makes a harsh grinding sound. So, I look into the spot wear the bb's are fed from the mag and theres a bb stuck in there. I take out the cleaning rod and take the bb out. Now it fires fine, so I put the mag in it again and it works for a few shots then grinds and stops shooting. I was hoping one of you gun docs could help me with this. If I also may add, this gun is pretty new (only used it once).

You'll need to get into the mechbox to sort out what's wrong.

First, take a look at Mechbox.com for some video's of working on a v3 mechbox. There might also be some stuff about disassembling an AK (which is very straight forward).

If you are mechanically inclined and not discouraged about what you see...go for it, you've got little to loose at this point. If you're totally overwhelmed and lost with the video...don't do it, you'll just end up angry/stressed/pissed-off.

There's a lot of finer points to getting it right, but you probably won't get that from the Internet.

And...now you know why cheap rifles are cheap...sorry for your luck.

This actually kind of reminds me of my TF-16. My problem was that the motor wasn't adjusted to the right height. But for the Kraken, i have no idea how you would do that. For mine i had to use a hex key. But yes, cheap guns are no good. I regret buying mine. Save up for at least a TM. I am still loving mine.

on v3's the motor adjustment screw is in the hole where youd screw the aks pistol grip on and it takes a very small allen wrench

i almost got it, I have it at shooting every other time. Well its not really shooting bb's for some reason. But it makes the right sound.

Motor height would be my first guess too. Sounds like the motor is too low. Had a similar issue with my JG 416. repeated vibrations from firing would slowly loosen the motor height screw. The same may be happening with your Kraken.
