m130 vsr 10
im considering buying a vsr from my friend for a great price.
scince i dont have too much money im going to keep the upgrades to a minimum. ive heard that all you need to run an m130 in the vsr is upgraded sears and spring guide. i would also put a tightbore in (havent decided a brand) im happy with my dees custom in my sd6 so i would consider one of those. does anyone have any experience with a setup similar to this? will this hold up for a decent amount of time? with .3 straights what am i looking at for fps and effective range? thanks guys, sorry if its a dumb question but im new to sniping and im not sure how much power ill need to be effective.

You've already started a thread about upgrading a VSR: http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=64639
What make is this VSR? |

With an M130 you don't actually need any other upgrades. I ran a TM VSR-10 for a full year with just an M130 and tightbore and no signs of wear or damage. There's a user on airsoftretreat.com that did a test with a VSR-10 and M130 and no other upgrades with over 1000 shots fired and similar results.
If you're on a tight budget I'd recommend: Laylax M130 spring, Laylax 6.03mm tightbore (readily available and best bang for the buck IMO) and Firefly hard hop bucking (emphasis on the hard version) That should be about $100 US and would give you a reliable and decently accurate rifle. |
