Also If your area allows 16yr olds to play go to a game you wil see lots of different guns. Most guys will let you hold them and maybe even fire a few rds. And if your really lucky you might be able to rent a gun and play. Best way to get involved and make a good name.

JOC allows 16 year olds to play with parental consent.
However do not misconstrue that as letting your father purchase a rifle by underhanded and immature reasons and still expecting to play with JOC. You will understand what it is to be banned. If that's the route you so choose. |

The difference between paintball and airsoft is that paintball is a lot more legal to play in Canada than airsoft. Airsoft is a lot more realistic than paintball in terms of how the guns look and if people see kids running around with a real looking gun and they get shot and then the police figure out its just an airsoft gun than airsoft in Canada could be ruined and that's exactly what people don't want and that's why you get flamed because you don't read the FAQ's that tell you everything you need to know without being yelled at also...

I'll lay it out to you plainly here. NO ONE on this forum will help you accquire a gun. First, it's against the rules, and if there's one thing members here do is abide by the community rules. You can be as responsible as an adult, but the fact is, the rules are the rules. Abiding by them is probably the best way you can demonstrate responsibility to us.
Secondly, discussing where to get guns, including ASKING ABOUT WHERE TO GET THEM outside of the 18+ areas can get you an infraction and for repeatedly doing so, get you banned. Look at it this way. I've known kids that grew up on farms and were driving farm equipment since they were 12. They were responsible drivers. However, if they had taken dad's truck out on the road and got pulled over, the "I'm not 16 yet, but I'm a good, responsible driver. I've been driving farm equipment for years" wouldn't cut it. Same thing with airsoft.
