Upgrades For TM SR-16

I have ventured over to the dark side and I have gotten an armalite project going. I have so far the following BNIB items: TM SR-16, G&P metal body and G&P m203.

I am currently in the middle of ordering my upgrade parts as soon as the funds clear onto my paypal account (hopefully early this work week). I am in need of some help because Im not sure if I am missing anything in here or if these parts would have issues with each other.

Externals:
TM SR-16 rifle (Have)
G&P M203 RIS short (Have)
G&P metal sr-16 body (Have)
KA G27 pistol grip black (On Order)
Clone Eotech 552 (Debating still)

Internals:
Systema m120 gearbox (~400fps?) (On Order)
Prometheus 363mm tightbore barrel (On Order)
Guarder clear hop-up bucking (On Order)
Systema magnum motor (long type) (On Order)

Will these parts work well with eachother with what I have listed so far, any weakpoints?

Should I use the stock TM hop-up, the metal hop up that came with my g&p metal body, or scrap both and buy a new one? (If so what one..?)

Is there anything that I perhaps missed/should also purchase?

Should I replace any of the systema m120 mechbox parts?
Add sorbo pad?
Replace with silent piston head?

Battery Advice? I have a 8.4v Sanyo 2400mAh, but would not mind getting a 9.6v if you can recommend a good one (not Li-Po though)

Thanks for reading, and I appreciate any input you can give me.

the stock TM hop up unit will not work properly because it's unstable when used with 400FPS. Your shot consistency will be HORRIBLE, it will go all over the place.

I had it happen with my old TM M4, took me 2 years to figure out why the accuracy was so bad after upgrading to 400FPS.

To fix this, you can either get a Laylax Strike chamber, or find a small tiny rubber O-Ring that you can install between the center gear/hop up unit. This will kill the inconsistency in shots.

either that or you can get a hard hop up bucking and rubber. Guarder Black is excellent, though sometimes its hard to install/take out.

Wrong, it's not possible to use a stock TM 2 piece hopup. You need to use a one piece hopup with a G&P metal body.
Also, don't open the mechbox at all. It's Systema, it's quality parts already. Your 8.4v battery will pull the M120 gearbox just fine with a good rate of fire.
Everything else looks good to me.

I'd say just keep the G&P metal one that comes with the body. No need to fix what ain't broke.
