Im in poland right now staying with relatives and i was hoping to bring something back. This thread has crushed my dreams. I saw a really nice air rifle that was 6mm lead ball and not exactly airsoft. I doubt it would be possible to lower the velocity t airsoft standards but at 100 zloty it was an amazing value. At the same place in the market i bought two knives (legal by 3mm and 2mm) and i was going to buy a baton but i am not sure of the laws regarding it.

You can mail it back to your home in BC.
I mean, if it does not look like an actual gun (m16, ak47, uzi) then its just a pellet gun which is legal to own, so for 100zl, do it up! Just MAIL it back, taking it on the plane... might not go to well. I used to go every summer to Poland for 1 or 2 months at a time, I always purchased butterfly knives, switchblades, and even pellet guns... I never took them on the plane with me, I always mailed them back to myself in BC, and never had any problems. I dident know the knives were illegal in Canada untill a year after I owned them... |

I don't want to start a flame here, but have you ever been to Poland? I would hope you at least experienced the country and all of eastern europe for the matter before making such a statement. Some people on the board have orgins from there and might find your comment offensive.

You can try this...
I've brought weapons and historical objects back from Poland. What i do is declare them at the airport in Warsaw or Gdansk. What Polish customs will do is seal your bags with this funky yellow tape. I've done this five times already and Canadian customs don't bother me on the way in. I brought back a full suit of Hussar Armour, along with two black powder pistols and several swords.

So you suggest I do this with a metal receiver?

Powodzenia
Powodzenia.
