Hey now, lets not start flaming people in this thread over what they like.
Now, about the M4 series of rifles and compared to the P90/AUG. How much more/less will it likely weigh? How much more/less barrel length to total length be? Besides a large number of slightly over priced accessories I likely won't have any interest in, what else is there beyond the basic rifle that I'm going to want to buy/upgrade that the M4 offers and not the P90/AUG? |

The m4 offers everything. There is nothing that someone hasn't figured out how to attach to an M4, from dildos to cup holders.
As to things you will want to buy, a red dot sight most likely, or a better stock that will hold a larger battery.

edit: more info to stay constructive. some scopes don't fit on the AUG rail, you have to modify it. Tasco red dot fits, Elcan replica doesn't (mine at least) You can fit a PEQ battery box on an RIS/RAS friendly AEG, it's harder on AUG and P90, and looks bad. it's easy to double MP5 or M4 mags, but for AUG and p90 mags, it's another story...

True, but red dot sights can be mounted on the P90 (And I plan to buy a decent one, actually a pair of them cause I would rather not have to re-align it to switch between paintball marker and airsoft), and the TM P90 apparently has the space for modding a larger battery in. And honestly, I would be happy with a lower rate of fire (will likely semi auto only anyway) and carrying a swap out battery for if I get into longer games.
Anyone else have comments on my options? Like I said, it likely will be a few months before I actually buy, I just rather do lots of research and gather more comments than I really need on the subject before sinking $500+ on something. For anyone that has used a P90 and other short weapons, any that you like better? More durable out of the box for similar price to a Tokyo Marui FN P90 TR? |

Lets do a quick review.
Aug, can be taken apart into two pieces for quick storage, or if you have a CQB barrel it can be easily stored in the case parameters supplied. Good power, long inner barrel for good accuracey. AK47, with a folding stock or the AK SU model youve got a formidable power gun that can be easily stored. Plus the AK 47 is kinda sexy. MP5, Small, decent aeg, lots of accesories availble for it, plenty of room to store in your gun case. Great indoor and outdoor gun. P90, small light powerful, requires some modifacation internally to the inside if you wish to house a larger battery. Low caps and midcaps would be your best bet as with hicaps you have to remove them to wind before putting them back in. Very good rate of fire and formidable indoors and can be used outdoors without being out ranged to badly as well. M4 variant, comes in all sizes but as for your initial statement it just didnt feel as if it was your thing. However a dildo fired from an M203 mounted on an M4 gets you 1000 sexy points. M4 variants have lotsa accessorys, rails, front ends, stocks, sights, lasers and kitchen sinks. Decent for both outdoor and indoor. G36C, Small gun, decent design, sleek sexy, finding mags can be a pain as we cant import mags with faux bullets in them, however pure black mags do exist.Small compact and with its folding stock it can be ever smaller! Good for outdoor and indoor. Sig 552, small gun, and like the G36 it can come with mags that have faux bullets. However once again I blieve pure black ones exist. Just like the G36, its small and great for CQB but good enough for outdoor use as well. I wish I could offer an opinion to you as to which to get but honestly if you ask me, its all just motor driven pistons that push air to fire a BB, it just comes down to how you want it to look.

Having spent a season of play with a p90 it has been the best gun I Have used yet.
pro's with a silencer you can fit a full size m4 inner barrel 363mm deadly quiet version 6 gearbox is made of mostly version2 and 3 parts hop up doesn't get knocked loose so once its set its set tr version with red dot is very easy to align targets if you get the p90 battery from http://stores.ebay.ca/All-Battery-Center you don't need to mod the gun and get a 9.6v 1500mah in small, very small con's hard to find mags high caps can jam( so use lots of lube) Mag pouches are hard to find People think its ugly ( I don't) Having never even held an aug I can't say anything about it. |

Tactical Tailor has pouches,
http://www.tacticaltailor.com/index....ROD&ProdID=264 http://www.tacticaltailor.com/index....ROD&ProdID=292 The P90 is a nice little package. Get a Tri-rail for sure as you can mount any optic you want or use the BUIS. I just hunted up an original P90 Red Dot upper and now I won't take it to a game due to the risk of having it shot out. |

Theres always the UMP , TM HK G3 SAS, TM HK MC 51, AK 47 Spetz and well a Scar with a folded in stock isnt huge either. Theres also an MP40, although hard to find and Im not sure if you are into that kinda look, but its still an option for a smaller gun.
