Barrel Length Question
Hello fellow ASC-ers. I have 2 front ends. Both standard plastic handguards. One is a regular length M4, and one is an M733 length. If I switch the M4 length barrel to an RIS, that's all fine and good. Now, if I were to put a regular M4 length RIS on the M733 barrel, would it be sticking out, or just at the end or the RIS, or what?

Outer barrel or inner barrel?
The outer barrel of a standard M4 is 14.5 inches. A standard RIS on that would generally be about 8 inches or so. Now, going by that (if yours is in fact a standard RIS) the Colt Commando barrel (Model 733) is 11 inches. You'd have about 3 inches sticking out. Your post wasn't exactly clear, so this is what I think you were asking.
