Nice AK, Azriel. Looks kinda weird with the Kraken plastic body, though.
So you're telling me you'd rather have plastic than wood...

if you know what I mean..

I hate either. But if I had to choose, it'd be plastic.

Wood looks better IMO, Plastic handles the elements better and may be a bit more stealth. But you're carrying a big ass AK, why are you worried about stealth?

I agree, the plastic body doesn't look too great, it will have a metal body and forward assembly soon though. Looks like redwolf is down at the moment, but they have that metal kit that comes with the front block and metal bits for the front handguards too. Iv'e got my heart set on that setup.

Hey guys I was eating Runts candy out of a 5 foot tube today and I had a brainstorm.

I saw the orange tip that I removed from the Kraken, and I thought "wonder if I could make a silencer from that?". It fits very snug around the barrel and doesn't wobble at all. Then I looked at my Runts candy tube, It's about the size of a silencer.

I drilled a hole in the end of the tube after emptying the candy, glued the orange tip off the gun on the end of the tube and cut it to about 5 inches in length. I will fill it with a couple layers of white packing foam and spraypaint it black. Then update with pictures of the finished product.

Go ahead and make fun of me I don't mind :P

But I just want you to know that it works very well, it eliminates the snappy report of the Kraken, and the G36 I tried it on.

Pictures of the foam install and final product. I'm surprised it even works, but I doubt it will last very long. I was just really bored and I figured what the hell.

Dude, that's a pretty creative idea for a supressor there. I laughed at first, but not when I saw the final pics. It actually looks pretty decent. And I was surprised at how much a supressor actually dampens the sound of an AEG. I got one for my MP5 a few days ago, and it works great. My MP5 is loud as fuck. The muzzle sound easily overpowers the sound of the mechbox. With the supressor, the mechbox sounds far louder than the muzzle report.

My Real Sword T56 is actually my AEG that produces the least muzzle report and runs the quietest internally. I installed the supressor on that (also has 14mm CCS thread) and I couldn't hear anything out of the muzzle.

And your Kraken is looking good. Once you get rid of that Aftermath-branded body, it will look really good.

Sweet, thanks for the comments guys! Ive found that it effects the bb's flight on full auto, but works perfect on semi. The whole purpose of making it was for those times that I'm laying in a bush and I want to pick someone off from 100 feet. So that doesn't really bother me, plus I saved like 50 bucks or more.

UPDATE:

Iv'e completed my upgrades on my Kraken, It's everything I expected and more. It feels very solid, it sounds amazing, ROF is excellent and bettery life is top notch. I get 2 full days of gaming from a stock 1100Mah ni-cd.

It looks about the same as it did, but the performance is 300% better than stock, easily better than a stock Marui, or even a mildly upgraded one. Here's what I put on it.

-Metal Body. (ebaybanned)
-Deepfire Hop Up Rubber.
-Element Bearing Spring Guide.
-Element 6mm Bearing Bushings.
-Element Silent Piston Head.
-Element Silent Cylinder head.
-King arms Hop Up chamer.
-Systema 6.04mm Tightbore Barrel.
-Systema Air Seal Nozzle.

Pics Below!
