JG SVD conversion

Ok so I have a Jing Gong SVD that has been pretty beat up externally, I was just curious as to whether or not there is an Ak47 or 74su conversion kit out there for them for a reasonable price.....maybe I am just blind but I had a pretty hard time finding anything. Also wondering what it takes to get my hands on a metal body. Give me your 2 cents thx.

The JG SVD isnt actually an SVD. Its just an elongated AK. Pretty much what you'll need is a new front set. Im not sure about needing a gasblock/rearsight but you will need a new inner and outer barrel as well as new woodkit or tokyo marui plastic as well as new sights, flash hider and i believe thats it.

The JG SVD will fit on to a Cyma CM028s ver3 not CM028 , You can then upgrade the stock spring to a 110 or 120 if you want to still use your stock gear box , clean out old grease and re grease, shim the gear box, new hopup rubber and a PSG-1 barrel tight bore or a Twisted barrel. As for scope Cyma make nice cheap side mount. As Relja saids it is not a true SVD , but at the price it is a good substitute for the really hight end make.
hope this helps.
