Unfortunately I'm going to say yeah. Planishing those two bits off to make the gas blowback unit fit into the slide is pretty permanent. Otherwise the TM GBB unit is just held in place by the two rear screws that attach the sights to the slide together.

I'd much prefer the ACTION, Prime or Creation slides to the Guarder one.

I +1 The Creation, it was a painless drop in job, little more expensive, esp for me since I got the full kit But finish, quality, and overall said and done, well worth it.

Creation slide looks awesome and fits great. I've had a lot of issues since installing it, but it does fit well and look great.

I have had zero issues with my creation slide installed. Crunch maybe order the PDI piston head and see if that solves your problems.

The problems in question are that it's a gas hog. I can barely get 1 mag on a full propane fill, and that I can barely break 260 fps with it. With its new slide, piston (the one that came with the Creation slide), tightbore, and enhanced nozzle, it should give me both much better gas mileage and higher velocity than that.

Yeah. Bloodsport said he was gonna try to find a list of all his internals that were replaced in his gun. Gonna try that for mine and see if that helps at all

What else are u running with it? Upgrades wise, springs, tightbore? I have zero problems as well running full creation, 150% springs, tightbore and a nozzel upgrade kit with regular mags, I get full gas per mag, great consistant shots, ect. So hopefully its just something off that can be tweeked.

I installed a Shooters Design piston head & recoil spring for a TM Hicapa 5.1 and it performs great with a stock plastic slide! FYI...
