Mp5 hi-cap mag feeding problem.

I just got a new hi-cap mag (mp5 hi-cap) and seems like it only feeds 10 rounds max no matter how much i wind it.
On the other hand, my m4 hi-cap usually feeds 30 rds per wind.
Anyone know what the problem is and how can i fix it?

An update: I applied some silicone oil into the mag and now it can feed 22 rds/wind
but it takes about 4 times to wind than TM m4 hicaps, is it just my mag or tm mp5 hicaps just harder to wind?

My MP5 hicaps (TM) fire off 44rds per wind. And typically they are a bit stiff to wind, the wheel is smaller than an M4 so it'd take more turns

Thanks for the reply Stalker!

I am guessing its a bad spring?
Because if i only wind it as much as i wind my TM M4 mags, the spring only pushes out 12 BBs and the spring compression sounded really weak.

Try opening your mag, pulling the internals out, check for any grains of sand in the gears (I found one once that caused zero BBs to be fed into the tube........ really sucked because the day I found out it was a 600rd max ammo limit game, at a HUGE field, that left me with four TM 50rd locaps to use all day and keep reloading back at base, easy 10-15min walk each time............ a SINGLE grain of fucking sand!!!!) and put on oil in there as well. The spring I am sure is on the paddle wheel, maybe it's gotten weak?

Thanks again mate, and this time it fixed the problem!
Seems like some steel wool got into the mag between the spring and the wheel! Now it feeds 70 BBs every winding!

Thanks again stalker!you saved my day opcorn: !!

Steel wool...jesus, was your mag cleaning your oven for you or something?

Good to hear it worked out, always keep them hicaps lubed. And always remember, there may be parts in there you think don't NEED to be there....well they do.(Yeah I learned that one myself)
